Sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting death this weekend in Compton.
Deputies responded to a report of a shooting of a man on the 800 block of West 137th Street at 9:13 p.m. Saturday. They transported a victim to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The name of the victim was not released, and sheriff's officials had no information on the suspect.
